A handmade Adana cicim kilim with bold tribal geometry, earthy Anatolian tones and a unique woven texture. Rhythmic diamond compositions on a salmon-pink base are accented with mint green, lavender, deep brown, coral red and soft terracotta.

The Adana cicim tradition

Adana, in southern Turkey, has a weaving tradition among Yörük communities. Their cicim kilims, with motifs worked in slightly raised extra threads, combine rhythmic diamond compositions with warm, expressive colours.
