A handmade Turkish cicim kilim with rich tribal character, warm bohemian colours and a strong decorative presence. Vibrant horizontal bands and detailed geometric motifs mix burgundy, orange, plum, olive green, black, cream and rust.

What makes a cicim kilim special

Cicim (pronounced "jee-jim") is a decorative technique in which extra coloured threads are wrapped over the base weave, so the motifs sit slightly raised on the surface. It takes far longer than a plain kilim and gives the piece a rich, embroidered look.

Care
