What makes a cicim kilim special

Cicim (pronounced "jee-jim") is a decorative technique in which extra coloured threads are wrapped over the base weave, so the motifs sit slightly raised on the surface. Mut, in the Taurus Mountains of southern Turkey, is known for this tradition among its village and Yörük weavers.
