Handmade in Afghanistan by Turkmen weavers, this Bukhara-design wool rug has repeating Tekke-style gul motifs in deep red and burgundy tones. Its detailed tribal pattern adds warmth and character to a room.

"Bukhara" rugs take their name from the historic Silk Road trading city where Turkmen rugs were sold. They are known for rows of repeating gul (medallion) motifs on rich red grounds.
