A striking handmade Herki tribal runner from the Hakkari region, with a powerful monochromatic composition of large ram's horn-inspired motifs along a clean ivory field.
The Herki tradition
Herki weavings come from the semi-nomadic Kurdish Herki tribe of the Hakkari region in south-eastern Turkey. Their runners are known for bold medallions, natural undyed wool tones and thick, durable wool.
Where it works
At 100 × 310 cm, this runner suits a long hallway, entry or the length of a bed. The ivory and dark tones fit minimalist, Scandinavian and Japandi interiors.
Care
Vacuum regularly without the beater bar, rotate every few months for even wear, and blot spills straight away with a damp cloth. For deep cleaning, we recommend a professional rug cleaner.
