Bold, authentic and impossible to overlook, this Herki tribal runner is a genuine handmade weaving from the Hakkari region. Vibrant crimson, burnt orange, deep indigo and powerful geometric motifs embody the spirit of traditional Kurdish weaving.

The Herki tradition

Herki weavings come from the semi-nomadic Kurdish Herki tribe of the Hakkari region in south-eastern Turkey. Their runners are known for bold medallions, rich natural colours and thick, durable wool.

At 120 × 350 cm, this wide runner is made for long hallways, galleries and open-plan spaces.

Care

Vacuum regularly without the beater bar, rotate every few months for even wear, and blot spills straight away with a damp cloth. For deep cleaning, we recommend a professional rug cleaner.
