A beautiful handmade Herki tribal runner from Hakkari in Eastern Anatolia, with bold geometric medallions and vivid natural colours on a dark ground.

The Herki tradition

Herki weavings come from the semi-nomadic Kurdish Herki tribe of the Hakkari region in south-eastern Turkey. Their runners are known for bold medallions, rich natural colours and thick, durable wool.

At 87 × 300 cm, this runner suits a hallway, entry, kitchen or other transitional space.

Care

Vacuum regularly without the beater bar, rotate every few months for even wear, and blot spills straight away with a damp cloth. For deep cleaning, we recommend a professional rug cleaner.
