The Afyon Parmaklı kilim

Afyon, in western Central Anatolia, is known for its Parmaklı kilims, a striking minimalist design of repeated finger-like motifs. Bold and graphic, they are among the most contemporary-looking traditional Anatolian weavings.

At 90 × 95 cm, this small square kilim is ideal beside a bed, under a side table, at a front door or as a wall hanging.

Care

Vacuum regularly without the beater bar, rotate every few months for even wear, and blot spills straight away with a damp cloth. For deep cleaning, we recommend a professional rug cleaner.
