An exceptional handmade Herki tribal runner from Hakkari in Eastern Anatolia, with bold geometric medallions, symbolic tribal motifs and a rich crimson palette.

The Herki tradition

Herki weavings come from the semi-nomadic Kurdish Herki tribe of the Hakkari region in south-eastern Turkey. Their runners are known for bold medallions, rich natural colours and thick, durable wool.

Where it works

At 92 × 370 cm, this extra-long runner is made for long hallways and corridors.

Care

Vacuum regularly without the beater bar, rotate every few months for even wear, and blot spills straight away with a damp cloth. For deep cleaning, we recommend a professional rug cleaner.
