An exceptional handmade Herki tribal runner from Hakkari in Eastern Anatolia, with a striking deep red field and bold tribal motifs, showing the raw beauty and durability of traditional Herki craftsmanship.

The Herki tradition

Herki weavings come from the semi-nomadic Kurdish Herki tribe of the Hakkari region in south-eastern Turkey. Their runners are known for bold medallions, rich natural colours and thick, durable wool.

Care
