A magnificent handmade Herki tribal runner from Hakkari in Eastern Anatolia, with bold hexagonal medallions, vibrant tribal motifs and rich natural colours.

The Herki tradition

Herki weavings come from the semi-nomadic Kurdish Herki tribe of the Hakkari region in south-eastern Turkey. Their runners are known for bold medallions, rich natural colours and thick, durable wool.

At 97 × 350 cm, this long runner suits hallways, entries and narrow living spaces.

Care

Vacuum regularly without the beater bar, rotate every few months for even wear, and blot spills straight away with a damp cloth. For deep cleaning, we recommend a professional rug cleaner.
