The Oushak (Uşak) legacy

Uşak in western Turkey has been one of the great carpet centres of the world since the Ottoman era, when its rugs were exported to European palaces and painted by Renaissance artists. Oushak designs are known for graceful floral patterns and gentle colour palettes.
