A bold vintage Kayseri wide runner with a deep red field carrying a column of stepped diamond medallions in saffron, black, lilac and turquoise, framed by a charcoal border of multicolour hooked diamonds in pink, coral, gold, green and violet. The long sides are finished with a protective fabric binding.

Kayseri in Central Anatolia has a long weaving history. Its kilims are known for strong geometric medallions, saturated colour and confident, graphic designs.
